As per requested
As requested by Matt, I am giving my information on how to get your MCP packet. Obviously you have to order it, but first you need your ID number and an authorization code. This is where the fun comes in. You'll have to call Microsoft with the number I gave in class which is 1-800-636-7544. Since you don't have your MCP ID, they will ask you for your email address that was provided to them from Prometric, name and a couple of id check questions. They will give you the website (which in this case isn't needed since we already have it) and your ID. They will send the Authorization code to your email.
When you get the numbers, go to the website and it will promp you to login using a .NET email address (ie-hotmail, msn, etc-so if you don't have one, get one). After logged in, it will ask the ID and authorization code. After it is all in their system, it will bring you to a screen to check your info and then you are brought to the main screen of the MCP website, from there go to the Welcome packet section on the left and order it.
Ta Da...Have fun and don't be afraid to bother them if something doesn't go through.
